Detroit Lions Host Charity Softball Game

Detroit Lions punter, Sam Martin and defensive tackle, Haloti Ngata faced off with their teammates in a charity softball game this summer. This is Sam Martin’s first time hosting the charity game, located at Ernie Harwell Field on the campus of Wayne State University. A tradition revived, following former Lions, Stephen Tulloch & Nate Burleson. Martin’s newly launched ‘Sam Martin Foundation’ is designed to help children and their families that are dealing with disabilities and life-threatening illnesses.
