Lions are Tested in a Battle of 3-1 Records vs. Carolina

Last Sunday, Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions were unable to complete one of their famous, 4th quarter comebacks vs. Carolina Panthers. Falling 27-24 and moving to 3-2 in the NFC North.

Despite an early Lions lead in the 2nd quarter, 10-3, the story was all about 3-time Pro Bowler and 2015 NFL MVP, Cam Newton. Cam was absolutely dominant, throwing for 355 yards and 3 touchdowns.

For 2-straight weeks the offensive line failed to prevent, QB Matthew Stafford from being sacked 6 times.

The Lions look to bounce back this week in New Orleans vs. the Saints. They will have to do so without defensive tackle, Haloti Ngata, who is done for the season with a torn bicep. Detroit has signed DT Caraun Reid and DE Datone Jones moving forward.

Photos taken from the game include; Darius Slay Jr., Golden Tate, Eric Hipple and Eddie Murray signing autographs.
