Wings Make it 2 in a Row versus Buffalo

Detroit Red Wings played host to Jack Eichel and the young, Buffalo Sabres, who have found themselves at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, 5-11-4. Eichel, the 2nd overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Detroit and Buffalo were scoreless until late into the 2nd period, when Luke Glendening put the Wings ahead with a goal, assist going to Darren Helm. The Sabres would respond in the 3rd with a goal of their own from center, Ryan O’ Reilly. Tomas Tatar would score the go-ahead goal (8:36) and Dylan Larkin would cap it with a goal (15:54) of his own.

Goaltender, Jimmy Howard would finish the night with 19 saves. The Red Wings have now won consecutive games at home for the first time this season. They will host Colorado, Sunday at LCA, 6 PM.
